Lake Monroe Shore a 150 townhome development

Lake Monroe Shores Townhomes – a 150-home Henin Group project closed in 2020, and construction started in first quarter of 2021.

“We were delayed about six months with the Covid-19 shutdown and the government working from home,” said Jerome Henin, CEO of The Henin Group. He said plans for the nearly 18-acre parcel at 2300 W. First St. have been approved and permitted after being rezoned from industrial to residential.


“Townhomes at this community will have as much as or more square footage than many townhomes and single-family homes offered in Seminole County for $300,000 and up,” Henin explained, adding that the three- and four-bedroom units are slated to start at 1,800 square feet.

The property along the shores of Lake Monroe is in a highly desirable area with a hospital, historic downtown Sanford, a lakefront park, employment corridors, and a mall nearby, Henin said.

“These conveniences just add value to the investment in a new townhome here.”
